What is the exact voting window and deadline?
Voting commences promptly on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 11:00 PM IST and concludes strictly on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 04:00 PM IST. The online voting portal on Right2Vote will automatically lock at 16:00 IST sharp without any extensions.
When and where will the official election results be declared?
Official results will be tabulated automatically by the Right2Vote electronic tally system and declared on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 04:30 PM IST. The verified counts will be published on the official association portal and community notice boards.
🏛 Voter Eligibility & Ownership
Who is eligible to vote in the MC5 elections?
Every registered flat owner of My Home Avatar whose name is present on the finalized association electoral roll is eligible to vote. Maintenance dues and association membership records must be in good standing as per association bylaws.
What if a flat has joint owners (e.g. husband & wife or co-owners)?
As per MHAWA bylaws, one vote is allocated per flat unit. The electronic voting invitation link and confidential authentication OTP will be routed to the primary registered mobile number and email ID recorded on the association's verified electoral records.
Can tenants vote on behalf of flat owners?
No. Voting rights in Management Committee elections are strictly vested with registered flat owners. Tenants are not permitted to vote unless formally authorized by the registered owner through an officially approved power of attorney lodged in advance with the Election Committee.
If an owner holds multiple flats, do they receive multiple votes?
Yes. In accordance with association bylaws, voting rights are unit-based. Flat owners owning multiple registered flats will receive distinct voting invitation links or voter tokens for each registered flat unit owned.

How many candidates can I select across the contested positions?
Your electronic ballot comprises 7 positions:
- President: Select 1 candidate (out of 3 contesting)
- Vice President (VP): Select 1 candidate (out of 3 contesting)
- General Secretary (GS): Select 1 candidate (out of 3 contesting)
- Joint Secretary (JS): Select 1 candidate (out of 2 contesting)
- Treasurer: Select 1 candidate (out of 2 contesting)
- Joint Treasurer (JT): Select 1 candidate (out of 2 contesting)
- Executive Committee (EC) Member: Select up to 4 candidates (out of 10 contesting)
Can I select fewer than 4 candidates for EC Members, or skip a position?
Yes. You are permitted to select up to 4 candidates for EC Member (you may pick 1, 2, 3, or 4). You can also choose to leave any individual position unselected if you do not wish to vote for that position.
Can I edit or change my vote after clicking Submit?
No. Once you authenticate with your confirmation OTP and click Submit Vote, your ballot is permanently encrypted and recorded into the secure electronic ledger. It cannot be altered, re-cast, or withdrawn.
🔒 Privacy, Security & Remote Voting
Is my vote confidential? Can anyone see which candidates I chose?
Yes, 100% secret and confidential. The Right2Vote e-voting platform utilizes end-to-end cryptographic voter secrecy. Neither the Election Committee, the Management Committee, contesting candidates, nor system administrators can link your identity to your candidate selections. Only aggregate final counts are calculated upon poll closure.
Can I vote from my smartphone or if I am outside Hyderabad / abroad?
Yes. The Right2Vote platform is 100% web-based and mobile-optimized. You can cast your vote from any smartphone (iOS/Android), tablet, laptop, or desktop computer with an internet connection anywhere in the world.
🛟 Assistance & Troubleshooting
What should I do if I do not receive my OTP or voting link?
Please follow these quick steps:
- Check your email's Spam, Junk, and Promotions folders for messages from Right2Vote.
- Ensure your registered mobile phone has active network coverage and can receive incoming SMS OTPs.
- Confirm that your mobile number/email matches the primary contact on the society records.
- If you still cannot locate your credentials, visit the physical Election Helpdesk set up in the Clubhouse lobby for instant assistance.
What if my internet connection disconnects or battery dies mid-way?
Your vote is only recorded when you complete the final OTP verification and click Submit Vote. If your connection drops before that step, simply reopen your voting invitation link, generate a fresh login OTP, and complete your selections.
Where is the physical Election Helpdesk located?
A dedicated Election Helpdesk will be operational in the Clubhouse Lobby during the polling window (Sept 5 from 11:00 PM to Sept 6 at 04:00 PM) to assist flat owners with mobile verification and technical support.
